About this work: This painting delves into the interplay of control and coincidence. During its creation, deep lines spontaneously emerge in the epoxy-filled glass fiber, beyond my influence regarding their depth or form. Once revealed, I meticulously fill these lines with a polyester and oil mixture, akin to repairing a car after an accident. I decide the choice of colors and the extent of sanding. As the layers evolve, a new set of lines emerges, perpetuating the dialogue between intention and chance. Finally, a layer of epoxy is applied, providing a polished finish to the work.
